Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Locumku ("we", "us", "our") governing your access to and use of the Locumku mobile application ("App") and related services. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the App immediately.

2. Description of Service

Locumku is a productivity and financial management tool designed for self-employed locum healthcare professionals in Malaysia. The App enables users to:

• Track and manage work shifts across multiple clinics and hospitals
• Log business expenses and calculate mileage
• Generate professional PDF invoices
• View income summaries, goal tracking, and LHDN tax estimations
• Store professional credential documents securely
• Sync calendar events and receive shift reminders

3. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Subscription & Auto-Renewable Plans

Subscriptions are auto-renewable. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account (for iOS) or Google Play account (for Android) at confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple ID Settings or Google Play Subscriptions).

No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription term. Free trial periods, if offered, will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled beforehand.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use the App for any fraudulent or illegal activity
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
• Share your account credentials with third parties
• Use the App to store or transmit content that violates any applicable laws

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of Locumku and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

7. User Data & Content

You retain ownership of all data and content you input into the App (including shifts, invoices, expenses, and uploaded documents). We do not claim any ownership rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Locumku is a record-keeping tool and does not provide legal, tax, medical, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any tax calculations, income summaries, or invoice amounts generated by the App.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Locumku shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by navigating to Settings → Delete Account within the App. Upon deletion, all your personal data, shifts, invoices, expenses, and uploaded documents will be permanently removed from our servers. You may also request deletion by emailing ouruainc@gmail.com. Account deletion is processed within 48 hours of the request.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activities that may harm the App, its users, or our infrastructure. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
